Sweet Summertime with Janie and Jack

The crisp air in Fall, the cozy holidays that come along with Winter, the sunshine in Spring, and the sweetness of Summer--I feel like I am always declaring each new season as my favorite. With sweet summertime in the air, we've been filing our bellies with popsicles and watermelon, spending our afternoons in the pool, and dressing up in our red, white and blue.
Linen shorts and button-downs are my go-to's from Brody this Summer. These pieces from Janie and Jack's latest collection have been on heavy rotation.
I love that I can find everything, even rain boots, at Janie and Jack. Speaking of rain boots, Brody lives in these Red Hunter Boots! Bending over to put shoes on a toddler at 36 weeks pregnant has been tough, so Brody has become that kid that lives in the desert, yet wears rain boots on the daily.
But when dad is around to put the shoes on, these little Navy Leather Loafers have been the perfect Summer accessory (fyi they run small!).
I know dressing a little girl is going to be a lot of fun later this year, but I do not think I will ever get over how fun it has been to outfit Brody.
There is just something special about being a boy mom.
And here I am getting all sappy again about my little boy growing up. One day soon I am sure I won't have much say in his wardrobe, but until that day comes, you can expect lots of sweet outfits.
