My Nordstrom Fall Haul + Sale Picks!

Lately, I’ve been sharing some of our Fall/Winter wardrobe pieces over on instagram stories and in the Private Momma Society Facebook Group. Today, I thought it would be fun to show you a few of my favorite purchases—styled up.
I have a couple of go-to shops when I’m on the hunt for clothes for Brody and Isla. It is no secret Nordstrom is always one of them. It boils down to this---free shipping and free returns with NO minimums. Even when the only thing I have in my cart is a Baby Bling Bow for Isla, it’s still free shipping. PS: some of them are on mega sale.
You may remember my post about where and how I shop for baby boy clothes. I always strive for simple prints, patterns and colors that can easily be mixed and matched.
This striped applique tee with a fun space pattern was my favorite purchase for Brody. He likes the kitschy toddler tees while I like basic tees and this was the perfect mix for both of us. He may or may not have insisted on wearing it the minute it arrived, despite having a fever.
Now that we live somewhere with seasons, one of the things I’m learning about Fall wardrobes is the fun that comes along with layering. It’s the little things that excite me these days!
Shop Our Outfits
I love the look of little boy’s in shorts and long sleeved shirts. It’s sort of preppy, totally classic and perfect for Fall. I grabbed these khaki Vineyard Vines shorts on sale (elastic adjustable waist for the win) and layered Brody up with this red quilted jacket (also on sale). He finished the look off with his rain boots, obviously.
A few days later, we switched it up and wore the shirt with pants and a vest.
Hands down, my favorite purchase from this haul was the woven apple top and bloomers set I ordered for Isla. I have been eyeing it for months and I nearly squealed when I saw it was on mega sale as part of Nordstrom’s Fall sale. If you have a little girl, snatch one up before they sellout.
The bloomers and the top are both great pieces to mix and match with other items in your little one’s closet. Pair the bloomers with a cardigan and knee socks or pair the top with leggings and ballet flats. The woven apples and the buttons that go all of the way up the back are perfection.
