My Favorite Baby Beach Gear
We are having so much fun at the beach in the Outer Banks with Isla and Brody! As predicted, Isla loves eating sand and Brody cannot get enough of digging in the sand.
We bought the cutest little swan kiddie pool (a bargain at $17!) and it has been the perfect spot to keep Isla happy as a clam. A few buckets of ocean water and she gleefully splashed all afternoon.
The LILLEbaby carrier has also been a lifesaver. We use the LILLEbaby Airflow version, so it keeps Isla and I both a little cooler. Instead of coming back to the house for naps, I'll put Isla in the carrier and walk down the beach until she falls asleep. Today she slept for at least an hour and half in the carrier while I read a book on the beach. It also frees up my hands to carry the loads of gear back and fourth to the beach.
I am working on a round-up of tips we're learning about the beach with an active baby! Our last beach with a baby experience was a little different since Brody was only 4 months old. Looking forward to more sunny days in the sand!
