Full of dreamy interiors and a curated collection of eye-catching baby products, you may need to set apart a few hours just to look over all of the eye candy. I am thrilled to have Rose and her sweet family on Momma Society today sharing a day in their life in London.

By The Numbers

The Daily Grind

7:00am – It’s New Years Day and Alba starts climbing on us in bed, as it’s a holiday she came into our bed after her 3am wake-up to co-sleep, all consistency has gone out of the window since Christmas! We had a quiet night last night so we’re feeling fresh today.

7:30am – Ben takes Alba downstairs and I check my Little Look e-mails and social networks on my phone, responding to a couple of Instagram comments and e-mails from clients and retailers. I come downstairs to find Ben and Alba snuggled on the sofa watching Frozen, their favourite.

8:00am – I prepare breakfast and we sit down together to eat, today it’s porridge for Alba and Earl Grey tea and some brioche that my Mum made for us.

8:30am – Alba plays with her new Christmas toys (she loves her new mini piano!) while I make sausage rolls for our picnic lunch. We received London Zoo membership for Christmas so we’re off on our first trip with my sister, brother-in-law and my two nieces.

9:00am – Rolls are in the oven and we tag team to get ourselves ready.

10:00am – We’re packed up and hit the road, praying that Alba will nap in the car, which she does after we listen to her favorite song a few times. It was a song I listened to a lot when pregnant and she still loves it.

11:00am – We park up and zip Alba into her VER de TERRE snowsuit, it’s a chilly day in London today!

12:00pm – We visit the monkeys, giraffes, tigers, gorillas and pelicans before stopping for our picnic. Then we take the little ones on the carousel before visiting the butterfly house and penguins.

2:00pm – We head home with a quick stop off at Granny and Grandpa’s house for tea, they live just across the park from us.

4:30pm – Alba does a bit of walking practice at home with her push along, she’s getting so good! Then a bit of dress up play and some supper, salmon and sweet potato for little one.

5:30pm – Ben gives Alba a bath while I do a little work, writing a blog post and completing a design proposal for a newborn nursery. It’s great having an extra pair of hands to help with Alba while he’s off work.

6:30pm – Things start to quieten down and we read a book, then I take Alba upstairs and nurse her to sleep. I settle her in her cot and sneak out.

7:30pm – Its time to relax and we eat a meal together and enjoy a glass of wine. I read my book (I’m desperate it finish it before Ben goes back to work and I wont have any reading time!) and send off a few more e-mails and post a couple of photos to Instagram.

10:00pm – We head up to bed and I feed Alba once more, before keeping our fingers crossed for a few good hours sleep before the next wake up!
